    Chime Labs and Google Calendar.

No new system to learn. If your day already lives in Google Calendar, Chime books into it and respects the time you have blocked out.

    Google Calendar + Chime

    What one call produces

    Chime
    Call

The software is not the gap. The unanswered call is

Sole traders and small crews do not want another platform. The calendar already works.

The gap is that the calendar cannot answer the phone while you are under a house.

    What the connection does

Inside Google Calendar, day to day

    01

Works with the calendar you have

No new tool to set up. Business hours, existing events and buffers are all respected.

    02

    Real-time availability

If you are booked, that slot is not offered. Blocked-out personal time stays blocked.

    03

    Events with full context

Every booking carries the name, number, job type and notes from the conversation.

    04

    Booking window control

Chime only offers times inside the window you are willing to take work in.

    A record, not a message

What exactly lands in Google Calendar when a call ends?

Most AI phone products end a call by texting or emailing you the details, so the booking only exists once you type it in. Chime ends the call by creating the event in your Google Calendar, with everything you need on it.

    Customer
Name and mobile number in the event title and description, so you can ring ahead without hunting.
    Location
The job address on the event, which means the map is one tap away when you leave.
    Job type
What the work is, not a vague “call back” entry.
    Description
The notes from the conversation, including access and anything the caller warned you about.
    Booked time
A slot inside your business hours that respects existing events, blocked-out personal time and travel buffers.

The alternative is a message you re-key later. A text at 9pm is work still to do; an event on the calendar is work already done.

    •Call flow

    What happens when someone calls

    1. 01

      You cannot pick up

On a job, driving, or simply not on the phone.

    2. 02

      Chime captures the detail

What they need, where they are and when suits.

    3. 03

      The calendar is checked

Business hours, buffers and existing events.

    4. 04

      The event is created

You see it the next time you check your phone.

    In practice

You know exactly what you are walking into when you show up

A calendar entry that just says "call back" is not a booking. Chime writes the customer, the number, the job and the notes onto the event.

It is the simplest way to run Chime, and for a lot of operators it is all they need.

    Who it suits

Is the Google Calendar connection right for you?

Google Calendar suits sole traders and small crews who do not run dedicated job management software yet. It is the lowest-friction way to make sure calls turn into booked work.
